Red and Pink: The New Black and White

Well, I’m still pondering the subject of black-and-white thinking (see my post “Black and White”).  This piece will try to make something good out of a negative term.

Black and white are polar opposites – dark versus light.   To stay in the “gray area” (meaning, choosing a position of balance), we need something in the middle of dark and light.

To give a picture of thinking with an open mind and having no unbudging absolutes – how about taking black and white thinking…putting it in the closet, and…

How about choosing two colors that are not opposites but a pair of colors that is the same, but one has a lighter tint?  Voila, I came up with red (bright) and pink (light).

So what’s the verdict?  What would be your thoughts on this, and could you share it with me, please?  Just curious, that’s all…
