Abilities are the basic things people can perform. They take no special talents but are something we learn to do. An example would be a non-arthritic hand can pick up a pencil and write. Children learn to tie their shoes. The author of this blog can draw a stick figure.
The next time you say, “I can’t do ANYTHING”, remember the root word of abilities – it is ABLE. You are able to do many, many things. Be thankful for the things you are able to do instead of complaining about the things you can’t do.
One more thing: you are able to read this blog, and I appreciate you! Have a very wonderful day.
