The Sunshine Factor

where sunshine is a way of life

A Fan of Dr. Seuss

Rickety-rack,

Clickety-clack,

it’s time to yack.

A Seuss-like character I would like to be,

as always, I like to rhyme, you see.

See the sun?

Let’s have some fun,

To the water’s edge run.

And oh – shall we write a pun?

Jiminy crickets,

Mabel came down with rickets.

She had big plans, didn’t mean to be sick,

But now she will be helped by Rick.

So now here is the end of this silly tale,

hope it was read by both the tanned and the pale.

When your temper gets out on the loose,

I will just refer you to Mother Goose.

I am an optimistic, positive person who is a seven year cancer survivor. Since that time I have learned that getting a cancer diagnosis does not always mean an automatic death sentence. I like to share my hope with others and continue to encourage them - no matter who they are or what they need encouragement for. I write poems, prayers, articles, and stories. Recently the premiere issue of my online magazine, http://www.innersunshine.net launched. Thank you for visiting!
