NATURE

A tree is a tree is a tree

whether sturdy, willowy, fragrant or pretty

A flower is always a flower

to make someone smile, this one has the power

Clouds roll in and clouds roll out

it’s hard to always guess their route

The sky is the king of expanse

at weddings, guests under it love to dance

Debbie – she does love to rhyme

she constantly does this – one rhyme at a time.

I am an optimistic, positive person who is a seven year cancer survivor. Since that time I have learned that getting a cancer diagnosis does not always mean an automatic death sentence. I like to share my hope with others and continue to encourage them - no matter who they are or what they need encouragement for. I write poems, prayers, articles, and stories. Recently the premiere issue of my online magazine, http://www.innersunshine.net launched. Thank you for visiting!

  1. My poet friend enjoys the sound of rhyme.
For rhythm though, she does not have the time.
Like pulsing heart and coursing blood,
A beat gives life and makes one’s poetry complete.
Oh muse, I bid inspire my friend to dance in words of rhythmic step.
Her verse enhance with lilting bounce or movement sure
    Or soft and gentle sway.
And let her know I oft peruse her blog and find a little joy.
Oh let her sun keep shining on this boy.
