Turkey Update

I’m still laughing about the poem “Rachael and the Turkeys” poem that I wrote for NaPoWriMo #8.

But this new thought is even funnier.

The roads here are still slippery, since this afternoon the snow was rainy and then got cold again.  Three turkeys were walking in single file on my street.  Usually when they cross the street and walk over the hills and into the woods, they go as one big throng. .. These turkeys actually picked up one foot at a time and put it down very gingerly.    They didn’t even bother to try the snow.  Apparently even THEY care what they look like!  🙂
