Poetry Saturday – A Singing Poem

This week’s poem will use personalization of an inanimate object AND be written with a song melody in mind.  See if you can figure out what song was on my mind when I wrote this!

O Chocolate,

I long to have you!

Go away, you toothless menace!

You bother me

and give me headaches

Go away and I’ll be healthy now

and no more tummy aches, either.

I like to share my hope with others and continue to encourage them - no matter who they are or what they need encouragement for. I write poems, prayers, articles, and stories. 1. I long to see a rolling river of chocolate. 😀

  2. Great idea! I’ve no idea what the song is but I hope you are going to reveal it at some point…I’m really curious!
