The Sunshine Factor

where sunshine is a way of life

Thrilling Thursday

I was reminded about college and university this week when I drove past the St. Paul campus of the University of Minnesota. That is their farming and agricultural campus. Rows upon rows, in fields, is corn growing. It made me feel like I was in a farming community and not driving on city streets.

A couple weeks ago my theme on WordPress featured a dark blue background with the title Sunshine Factor in yellow letters. What did this remind me of? University of   Michigan’s football team, the good ol’ maize and blue. Go Wolverines! 🙂

Speaking of university — it is soon back to school time, and after Labor Day I will have a new work schedule, Monday through Friday with a normal amount of hours. “Back to School”, as you know, is one of my favorite times of year. That, my friends, is why today is “Thrilling Thursday.” Hope you’re having a fantastic end to your summer too.

I am an optimistic, positive person who is a seven year cancer survivor. Since that time I have learned that getting a cancer diagnosis does not always mean an automatic death sentence. I like to share my hope with others and continue to encourage them - no matter who they are or what they need encouragement for. I write poems, prayers, articles, and stories. Recently the premiere issue of my online magazine, http://www.innersunshine.net launched. Thank you for visiting!
