I’m intrigued by the term half-life. Is it similar to a shelf life of foods at the grocery store, threatening not to taste as good if they’re not consumed by the “best by” date? Probably. A life led only minimally probably seems like it is deteriorating or shriveling up.
Are you thriving or surviving? There is a vast difference between merely getting by and celebrating the fact that you can breathe and live and love and laugh (or cry or have other emotions).
Life is there for you to live, and live fully. Even through clouds and rainy seasons of your life, you still hold this nugget in your heart: I am here; I will not wait any longer to live a full life. A life with all its ups and downs. A life that I have received as a great inheritance. An inheritance that is there to appreciated.
Mazel tov! Here’s to life!
