Once again it’s finally Friday!

Once we’re to this point, though,

we often wish the clock would speed up

so it could be at the official end of the work week.

Why rush it?

It’s fun to watch people on Fridays.

Many of them smile more than usual

or get so animated, telling others about their plans

It’s a good time to be thankful, too ~

you did make it through the week

and are still alive to tell about it.

Savor each moment

since you will never have it again

Take a deep breath

and say “Ahhh, Friday!”

I am an optimistic, positive person who is a seven year cancer survivor. Since that time I have learned that getting a cancer diagnosis does not always mean an automatic death sentence. I like to share my hope with others and continue to encourage them - no matter who they are or what they need encouragement for. I write poems, prayers, articles, and stories. Recently the premiere issue of my online magazine, launched. Thank you for visiting!

  1. Good point! In fact, the faster we rush through Friday, the quicker Monday arrives! EEP! Although, I don’t dread Mondays as many do. I see Mondays as the beginning of a new story… we can write the week any way we want. 😉

    • Oh, how true! Very good point. I also love the optimism and positivity of your way about thinking of Mondays. I’m that way, too, but unfortunately many of my work fellows vehemently disagree. Oh well, we’ll just keep shining. 🙂

  2. Ahhh, Friday! 🙂
