LIVING THE DREAM
A dream for your life
can start out so small
First a seed
tiny and hibernating
then watered by hope
Enthusiasm and excitement
enter in
and pretty soon the dream
is life-size
At this point
is where you have to be careful, though
Don’t let fear
grow to be the size of your dream
and clip its feathers
rendering your dream unable to fly
Your dream deserves to soar
and does not deserve naysaying advice
who needs that negativity?
You have this dream for a reason
You are the only one who has to understand
You are the only one who can get this off the ground
because it is your dream
(how you see it for YOU)
and no one else’s
Life dreams take a lot of work
working, living,
loving, breathing,
that’s why they call it
living the dream
